Bio| I’m Amber. I’m 24. I was almost finished with college when I had a “mid life crisis” and decided to take a break and re-evaluate my life. I'm eventually going to go back and finish my nursing degree. Lately, I am a knitaholic. You can find me at ravelry, although I haven't been that active. I’m also a workaholic. My grandmother was one of my best friends. I don't know if there is much else to say. When no one was there for me, she was. When things were bad, she taught me to make inappropriate jokes at inappropriate times and I will always thank her for that. When I was a kid, I beat her in card and board games, and she wasn't even cheating to let me win. When I was in high school, we had Friday night pizza and movie nights every Friday. When I moved away, I sometimes would accidently prank call her by holding her speed dial down. Even with nine other speed dials, it was always her. I feel like there is a big piece of my heart missing now. Sometimes I pick up the phone to call her and have my finger on the speed dial before I realize she's not there anymore. She and my father are my two best friends, and the two people I know will never ever let me down. Even in death, I know that is true. I love you, Gra. |
